Jojo is making a comeback! I have been highly anticipating her upcoming album, "Jumping Trains", ever since her mix-tape was released earlier this year. Probably because she is my favorite female artist.
The Other Chick was released May 14, onto JoJo's official website. The track was produced by Oak who also worked with JoJo on her mix-tape, "Can't Take That Away From Me". A video was also shot for the song on April 20. The Other Chick was set out to be Jojo's lead single from the upcoming album. In an interview with MuuMuse.com JoJo stated that The Other Chick will now only serve as the buzz single for the album. “It’s something cool that will introduce people to a more mature me, I suppose. It’s edgy, but it’s a buzz single.”
It has been said that there was supposed to be a lead single from the album this summer, with an album release in the fall (October) to follow. No single has been released yet. I just want an album release date aready so that I can pre-order it! I love me some Jojo!
