"3 high school seniors throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves. As the night progresses, things spiral out of control as word of the party spreads." (IMDb)

The premise of this film sounds not that exciting to some, but I think teens are especially hoping it'll be a young adults version of The Hangover, which was very successful--and a hilarious movie. And since the movie is from the director's of The Hangover, I think this movie will follow in suit. When I first started hearing buzz about the movie, I wasn't excited, I just thought it was going to be another stupid movie about some kids getting drunk. The interesting part about this film is that it is shot through a series of hand-held cameras, so that should make for an interesting effect. The only thing that may appear a little unrealistic about this movie is the fact the a group of high school students are throwing this huge event. In what universe does this happen? Or should I say state? Cause it definitely have gone down at the high school I'm from--not without authorities figuring out about possible illegal activities first.

Anyways, It's one of those fun movies that you don't really have to think about, and I'll be making an attempt to see it. Project X comes to theaters March 2nd. Check out the trailer below.

  1. Another silly one, I don't think I want anyone to know that went to see it at the movies + I'll just wait til it comes on Demand.

  2. I don't think you'd want to spend your Demand movie money on that. You'd be better off waiting till it arrives on Netflix.
