New Music Tuesday: JoJo

This is practically old news, BUT MAJOR NEWS. This is the comeback I've been waiting for since high school. It's hard to believe that it's been almost a full decade since Joanna Noƫlle Blagden Levesque - better known as JoJo graced us with an album (The High Road). The 13-year-old singer who brought us one of the best pop anthems of the early 2000s, is finally back!

After a battle with her longtime label Blackground Records and three mixtapes, The "Leave (Get Out)" singer is ready to release a new album under Atlantic Records. This past Thursday, The 24-year-old singer blessed us with a "Tringle" of singles, three brand new songs from her upcoming third studio album.

JoJo SLAYS on these three tracks. Each of the songs give us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming album and I can't get enough! Her vocals are better than ever, and if her previous mixtapes were any indication that she's all grown up, then these new songs take it to the next level. From the powerful R&B ballad "Say Love" produced by Harmony Samuels to the emotional "Save My Soul", another ballad produced by The Family to the fun dance-infused number, "When Love Hurts". While all three songs are solid, "When Love Hurts" is definitely the one that will be played on the radio.

She can do wrong. JoJo is my favorite artist, hands down and I can wait for the new album which is expected sometime later this year.

“THANKFUL AND EXCITED to share these three singles with you!! Thank you from the bottom to the top of my heart for your support over the years. The journey is just beginning.”

You can stream all three tracks from III below or head over to JoJo's official website!

Be sure to buy JoJo's III EP on iTunes now!
