Aubrey O'Day, singer and former member of Danity Kane has just released a new single, "Wrecking Ball". Well over a year ago, O'Day released her solo debut single "Automatic" and I wasn't too crazy about that song. However, the Celebrity Apprentice contestant switches up things with this new track that is more along the lines of a pop-ballad. It seems like now, all were hearing are techno/club/dance beats which are fun, but after a while, it all sounds the same. The song was produced by David Hodge, who was behind Kelly Clarkson's big hit "Because of You", which was a good move, I think. I kind of like the song, and can see it being played on the pop radio stations, so I'm sure she'll do fine with this single. No word yet on an upcoming album, but I'm sure that's soon to follow.
Check out "Wrecking Ball", which is available on Itunes.
