The sensational YouTube duo break out a new single perfect for the holiday season. Karmin covers a Christmas classic by The Ronettes, "Sleigh Ride". The 2012 version features a rap verse by Amy and vocals from her fiance Nick. The two have also shot a music video which is being used for Coach's 2012 holiday campaign. Amy talked about the track in an article via RyanSecrest saying "We were looking for one that we thought nobody had done or over-covered. Then we also wanted to find one that we could put our little Karmin reggae twist with rapping on, and that was the one that worked" (RyanSecrest). The song is like a breath of fresh air to me, because it hasn't been over-done. A good choice for the duo, I must say. They stay true to the original while adding their unique twist to the song. The video is cute and gets me in the holiday spirit.
