This just saddens me as I type. I still can't believe the news. Cory Monteith, star of the hit FOX Show Glee, known for portraying the character Finn passed away on Sunday at the age of 31. My prayers go out to his family. It's strange, I just started re-watching the second season of Glee a couple of weeks ago. And now I probably won't be able to get through another episode without it hitting me in the face that I won't be seeing Monteith on the upcoming 5th season (set to air this September). I read that cast of the show had recently shot promo photos for the 5th season and that they were set to begin filming mid-August. Looks like producers will have a lot on their hands.
Not so recently I posted about Monteith checking into rehab, and now he's no longer with us. It's just so sad. He was a young actor who seemed like a great person. Definitely gone too soon. Rest in peace, Cory, you will be missed.
