Wednesday Buzz: Transformers franchise to continue without Shia LaBeouf

Michael Bay, Transformers director recently announced the new leading man for his fourth installation of the franchise…and it wasn’t Shia LaBeouf. Director Bay announced that Mark Wahlberg would star in the fourth movie, according to E!

E! also reports that Josh Duhamel commented earlier this year that none of original actors from the films were going to return to the sequel. LaBeouf had already announced that he was done with the franchise. I guess there’s always a time to move on right? Producers of the film have confirmed that they are rebooting (what’s now said to be) saga (E!).

Well, we don’t know any more about the upcoming Transformers flick but I’m sure the cast change will have many buzzing about it soon enough. Mark Wahlberg. Hmm…I think I’ll have to sleep on that one. What do you think?

  1. i don't blame Shia! i didn't care for the last one. it was a lot of HYPE! very disappointing.

  2. Really, I actually liked the last Transformers movie, but I guess you're right. It definitely wasn't as good as the first one.
