Rumor has it that Taylor Swift and Zac Efron are dating. The verdict according to Gossip Cop? So False.

HollywoodLife reported that the young singer and actor had a romantic evening together. The two were seen spotted at Pace, an L.A. restaurant, "In deep [and friendly] conversation and very giggly." says a supposed observer (Gossip Cop).

My instant reaction was, "Oh no! Not Zac!". Seeing as how Taylor's dating history hasn't been very successful. Just because three years ago, Zac Efron said Taylor was a "lovely girl." means that the two are fallling love---not (Gossip Cop).

Here's the real deal. There was nothing romantic about the two's dinner outing. Swift and Efron were doing press for their upcoming movie The Lorax, and decided to grab some food afterwards, as friends of course.

It's such a shame that as soon as anyone is spotted doing anything together, crazy assumptions start being made.
