Biel will play the character originally played by Vera Miles. The actress played Lila Crane, and managed to escape the hotel in the Psycho finale. Johansson will play Janet Leigh--instantly, the shower scene comes to mind when thinking of this movie--the character Marion Crane is stabbed to death.
The movie is said to start filming sometime next year. This should be interesting, because I don't think anyone can touch Hitchcock.

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, Dawn! Granted, it's not a Psycho remake, it's more a look on Alfred Hitchock as a director but still...I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Me either + the original is such a classic + and this will be the 2nd or 3rd time being re-made, there was one with Anne Heche (I know I'm butchering her name), and while it was good + nothing compares to the original.
