Gossip Wednesday: Katy Perry disses Beyoncé

Since I've started following a fan-based Beyoncé blog, I've been getting the scoop on the Queen B. Earlier this week I stumbled upon a string of many protective fans lashing out at Katy Perry. Why? Apparently, Katy Perry recently dished on a possible collaboration with Rihanna. The totally false, and rumored quote that surfaced on web mentioned Perry saying that she wanted the collab to be epic, like the Eurthmyics song with Aretha Franklin, nothing like "Beautiful Liar".

That's not what the singer said at all. These were Perry's words during the Q&A with BBC radio:
"I was telling her, you know that Eurthymics song with Aretha Franklin, Annie Lennox, 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves'?" Katy said.

"That's like the kind of song that I'd want to do instead of, like, 'Hips Don't Lie,' which was still a great song by Shakira and Beyoncé. I mean, not 'Hips Don't Lie,' what's that duet? 'Beautiful Liar.'" (E!)

Katy's responded to the rumor by lashing out to the press via Twitter---and the bad four letter word comes out, of course.

"F--k all y'all (press) dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez, u havin a slow news day or what?!" she wrote last night. "Get a life, cuz it's not mine! #hoodratcominout (E!).

"If ya ears are filled with wax it's time to get a cleanse boo...Anywayz... (steps off of box)." (E!)

Tsk Tsk. People can't leave the Queen B alone--or anyone for that matter.
