The super fab duo Karmin have just premiered their brand-new single, "Acapella". I've been waiting on new music from them and finally I've got something. "Acapella" will serve as the lead single from the duo's upcoming full length album set to release later this year. The two artists, Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan give us their signature, funky music style with this track. It's an original, aggressive, pop song. I can honestly say, I haven't heard anything like this on the radio. In an interview with Rolling Stone about the single, Amy said, "Acapella was created almost exclusively with human voices," says Heidemann. "We flipped the original meaning of Acapella to mean 'D.I.Y.' or should we say 'D.I.A. - Do It Acapella!'" (Rolling Stone)
I think fans of Karmin will appreciate "Acapella", especially if they enjoyed their EP, Hello. I know I certainly did. "Acapella" will be digitally released for purchase on June 25th. Check it out below. Enjoy!
