Wednesday Buzz: Paula Deen Fired By Restaurant Amid Scandal

It looks as if things aren't getting any better for Paula Deen. The former Food Network kitchen personality was dumped by Caesars Entertainment on Wednesday.

The casino corporation in charge of Caesars Palace is cutting its ties to Deen, who had restaurants at four of its properties. It was announced by Caesar that ending the business relationship with Deen was in the "best interest" of the company.

Deen’s establishments were located at Harrah’s Tunica in Tennessee, Harrah’s Joilet in Illinois, Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina, and a buffet at Horseshoe Southern Indiana. The restaurants will be "rebranded" and reopened, disassociating themselves with Paula Deen.

Paula Deen also appeared on The Today Show today, coming to tears, apologizing for the N-word controversy. A week ago, Deen admitted to using the N-word in a court disposition and since then things have only backfired. 

I've also read that Walmart has decided to discontinue their reationship with Paua Deen Enterprises. Guess you won't be seeing her product for sale there anymore.
