Wednesday [TV] Buzz: Stand Up 2 Cancer Telethon | "The Office" Ending

Gossip Cop has the latest on the Stand Up 2 Cancer Telethon set to air in a few weeks. Many celebs will be participate in the upcoming telethon including Emma Stone, Matt Damon and Taylor Swift.

The organization announced Wednesday that Swift would be performing as well, in addition to Coldplay, Alicia Keys and Tim McGraw (Gossip Cop). Other stars said to appear include Gwyneth Paltrow (exec. producer), Julia Roberts, Michael Douglas, Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Beil.

The Stand Up 2 Cancer organization supports research for new treatment therapies for those diagnosed with Cancer. This will serve as the third televised event set to air commercial-free on several networks on September 7 (Hey, that's my B'Day!).

The Office is ending after its upcoming ninth season, according to Gossip Cop.

The news was confirmed Tuesday by executive producer Greg Daniels in a conference call with reporters. "This will be the last season of 'The Office', and we're planning a big, exciting last season". Daniels added that viewers of the show will finally get to see the people behind the "documentary" that's been the series' premise (Gossip Cop). That should be fun.
