Wednesday Buzz: Katy Perry Shoots Down Robert Pattinson Rumors

Katy Perry speaks out on the rumors about her and Robert Pattinson in the September issue of ELLE UK.

After Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart split, many media outlets spread rumors about Perry and Pattinson forming a romance. The two friends have also been subject to similar rumors last year, after Pattinson and Stewart's first breakup.

Katy Perry tells ELLE UK, "I sent her [Stewart] a text message saying, 'I know you've seen all this stuff, but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits" (Gossip Cop).

And thus the rumor is squashed.

In the magazine, she also opens up about her romance with John Mayer saying "The men I have gone for are challenging, yes, but they're also wildly intelligent and poetic. I'm not interested in taming anyone. I'm pretty wild myself" (Gossip Cop). OKAY KATY. I see you...

I'm telling you guys, I have so much more respect for Katy Perry after watching her concert-movie/documentary Part of Me. And I'm excited to know that Perry is working on a new album Prism set to be released October 22nd. Perry kicked off her album campaign in LA with a gold semi-truck driving around with the words, “KATY PERRY, PRISM, 10.22.13″ displayed on the sides. Love ya, Katy.
