Wednesday Buzz: Lea Michele Breaks Silence About Cory Monteith

On Monday, Lea Michele took to Twitter for the first time since the sudden death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith. Cory Monteith on July 13 passed from an accidental overdose at the age of 31.

The Glee star tweeted, "Thank you all for helping me through this time your enormous love & support" (Gossip Cop).

Michele posted a personal photo (see left) and added "Cory will forever be in my heart" (Gossip Cop).
At the news of Monteith passing, Michele's rep had asked for privacy "during this devastating time".

A month before Monteith's death, in an interview with Marie Claire Mexico, Michele said Monteith "made her life 'so incredible'" (Gossip Cop). The interview was just released last week. For more on the interview visit Gossip Cop.

The cast and crew is set to start filming the new season of Glee next month. The show's previous September 11th premiere date for the upcoming 5th season has been pushed back to the 26th.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has spoken out on how the show will continue without Monteith's character, Finn. In an article on Wetpaint, I read that his death will be written into the show for the upcoming season and there will also be a tribute episode dedicated to Monteith. This will be the third episode of the season following the highly-anticipated Beatles themed episode.
