"When Keller Dover's daughter and her friend go missing, he takes matters into his own hands as the police pursue multiple leads and the pressure mounts. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?" (IMDb)

I first saw the trailer for this film while I was browsing around Hulu. I got so excited for the film especially after taking a look at the cast. Jake Gyllenhaal--who did a great job as the detective in Zodiac--is cast as another detective, but 'm excited to see him against Hugh Jackman. IMDb has the buzz on this film & screenwriter, Aaron Guzikowski, who also wrote Contraband. " [Guzikowski's] project sat in the laps of several directors (including Bryan Singer and Antoine Fuqua) before Denis Villeneuve came aboard to direct. The subject matter of this film alone is haunting and is sure to pull audiences in. This isn't another typical, cliche story, it's a crime thriller which will be refreshing amidst all the remakes, book-to-movie adaptation, and everything else that flops. After watching the trailer, everyone will want to know what happens. How far will a father go? This may prove to be Oscar-nominee material.

Prisoners, opens in theaters September 20. Check out the trailer below. What do you think?
