It's official. Filmmaker Paul Feig announced via Twitter this afternoon that Chris Hemsworth will be in his upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones as the ghost-fighting team.

Hemsworth will play the receptionist, originally made famous by Annie Potts who we remember as the sarcastic receptionist who had a crush on Egon in the 1984 film. And so for the millions of women who have mild crushes on Australian actor--who is very attractive might I add--this seems like the perfect move.

Reboots seem to be the thing as of late. This is not to be confused with the regular male version of Ghostbusters, which is apparently also in the works, according to E! I think I recall the name Channing Tatum being thrown around for that one.

Anyways, Paul Feig's Ghostbusters is set for a release date of July 22, 2016. It's quite the wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.
