"A college lecturer flees to Paris after a scandal costs him his job. In the City of Lights, he meets a widow who might be involved in a series of murders." (IMDb)
I love a good thriller, and with all the buzz around this movie proving to be a top-tier thriller, makes me more excited. It look like this movie has good potential. It sounds like this will be the film to leave you hanging at the end of the movie--a head-scratcher so to speak. And Ethan Hawke will be starring in the film, and his performance should be good. I haven't seen any good thrillers lately, well--that have come out within the last couple of years--so I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. Even if I don't end up seeing it in theaters, and on demand instead, it looks like it will be good entertainment for an evening. And what I like is that I haven't seen a ridiculous amount of advertisement for the movie between every commercial break, like the more popular movies. I don't need it to be a blockbuster, I just need a film to keep me on the edge of my seat.
The Woman in the Fifth comes to theaters June 15th. Check out the trailer below. What do you think?
