John Legend has joined ABC's new singing competition Duets in place of Lionel Richie. A rep for Richie, confirmed with Gossip Cop that he left the show due to personal scheduling conflicts.
Legend speaks out on his new gig saying "I'm thrilled to be part of 'Duets' and I'm looking forward to finding an undiscovered gem out there. This is going to be a lot of fun." (Gossip Cop)

So Duets is just a spin off of The Voice right? I think I'll definitely watch the first episode though because I want to know who Robin is going to sing with!
