Wednesday Buzz: Jay-Z opens up on Blue Ivy

Jay-Z appeared on Oprah's Master Class: Special Addition on Sunday, according to Gossip Cop. On the show, he opened up about his and Beyoncé's fourth-month old baby, Blue Ivy Carter. He told Winfrey his goal is to keep is daughter grounded by "applying things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews" (Gossip Cop).

He also knows that keeping a child humble who wears designer clothing and takes yacht trips as an infant will be quite a feat. Gossip Cop says he added jokingly, "Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst-spoiled little kid ever" (Gossip Cop).

At the end of the day, Jay-Z, while very successful and uber-rich, is just like any other parent. He has the same worries about Blue Ivy. "Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad — until their [kids are] teenagers saying, ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me!’” (Gossip Cop)
