Wednesday [Movie] Buzz: “The Host” Trailer Premiere

Well I’m guessing people are already over the Twilight Saga and on to the next big thing. The Host based on a novel by the same writer of the Twilight Saga, Stephanie Myers is making its way to the big screen.

It was revealed a couple years back that The Host would become a movie adaptation, but I guess with Twilight still being all the rage, people weren’t too excited about it just yet. Once I learned that Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones, Hanna) would be starring in the movie, I became interested. The novel follows a woman whose body has been inhabited by a parasitic alien force (Gossip Cop). I was never interested in reading it, but I would like to see how the movie plays out. Maybe I’ll look into it more and feature it in a “Friday Night Movie” post. The movie also stars Diane Kruger, Jake Abel and Max Irons. The Host is set to be released March, 13th.
