Wednesday Buzz: Michael Ealy new star of Secrets and Lies

Okay, handsome! Michael Ealy will be taking over the lead role role in the second season of Secrets and Lies.

Deadline was first to report casting news.

The ABC mini series previously starred Ryan Phillippe opposite Juliette Lewis. Ealy will be starring opposite Lewis for the new season. In season two, Detective Andrea Cornell (Lewis) will take on an all-new case that involves Eric Warner (Ealy).

E! has the latest on season two. The season will begin as we get to know Eric Warner, a smart (and so very attractive), and well-educated heir to his family's private equity firm in Charlotte, NC. He's newly married and has everything he's ever wanted. At a party to celebrate his new title with the firm, his wife Katie is murdered. Nothing is quite the same after that. Detective Cornell takes over the investigation into Eric's wife's murder (E!).

Sounds pretty good. I never watched the first season, but now that I know Michael Ealy will be starring, I may have to check it out. Almost Human didn't make it past season one so hopefully he does well with this.
