My mom actually told me about this movie while we were watching an episode of So You Think You Can Dance?, she showed me this trailer. "No flipping way!" was my reaction. I had no clue Anna Kendrick could sing. From Twilight to Up in the Air and now a "gothed-out" character who sings. Director of the hit musical Avenue Q is taking on the big screen. For all you "Gleeks" no--this is not a spin-off, nor is it a knock-off of the hit TV show. This project was actually developed by one of the same minds behind the TV show 30 Rock. The two have no associations whatsoever. That's actually refreshing to hear and I now I really want to see this. The question then becomes, who will I be dragging along that actually wants to see it too?
