People have been buzzing about the highly anticipated remake of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel since Leonardo DiCaprio was cast. I'm sure everyone is getting tired of the book to film adaptations because we all know they have so much to live up to. With that being said, the two previous versions of the film leave me hopeful that this will be the better adaptation...did I speak to soon? I remember watching a 2000 version of the film while reading the book in high school, and I wasn't too impressed with the film. This newest version is sure to appeal to a broader audience. Lets cross our fingers that DiCaprio won't let us down in the dramatic role.
All that being said, I still would like to see the film. The Great Gatsby opens in theaters May 10. Check out the trailer below. Enjoy!
