"After a zombie becomes involved with the girlfriend of one of his victims, their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world."
Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, The Walking Dead, Zombieland...no wonder everyone's crazed over the zombie genre. Whether it's action-packed, comedy or a romance flick people will watch just about anything with zombies in it. Director Jonathan Levine who previously directed 50/50 and The Wackness returns to the horror genre. Let's hope the hype around the film doesn't disappoint. I first saw the trailer while seeing Breaking Dawn: Part 2, and thought this was an interesting take on the zombie sub-genre. Among other trailers seen like World War Z--gee this zombie thing really is catching on, huh?--I thought this flick would be worth watching. There's always something new you learn about zombie-fiction, so as i turns out love is the cure for zombies? They're actually people deep down inside with normal thoughts? I'll never look at another zombie film the same.
Warm Bodies opens in theaters February 1st. Check out the trailer below--if you haven't seen it already. What do you think?
