After an unsuccessful comeback single "Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better), Nelly Furtado has decided to move on with her newest single "Spirit Indestructible". The song serves as the second official single from her upcoming fifth album The Spirit Indestructible due out September 18th. While many fans were not impressed with "Big Hoops" as a comeback single, "Spirit Indestructible" sees Nelly again trying to explore different genres and sounds. The song has hard hitting drums and thumping beats, not quite like "Big Hoops". The song comes off better than her previous single and I'm hoping this will get Nelly more radio air time.
I'm still not too crazy about the song. I will admit, "Big Hoops" was okay to me for the first 3 plays....then it got boring. I'm not sure how far this will move up the charts, but "Spirit Indestructible" is definitely a better track. Check it out below.
