"Emily arrives in Miami with aspirations to become a professional dancer. She sparks with Sean, the leader of a dance crew whose neighborhood is threatened by Emily's father's development plans." (IMDb)
I'm sure haters of the franchise are thinking, "Not another one!" Well as long as we get to see crazy-good choreography and good looking people to look at, people won't care. The plot lines have never been strong throughout the series of movies, but they've been enjoyable to watch because of the dancing. I'm a huge fan of So You Think You Can Dance? so it's nice seeing old contestants on the big screen. Because the Step Up don't have continuous characters (you gotta make room for new talent), it's nice seeing Adam Sevani again. Sevani had roles in both Step Up 2 & 3. While the first movie Step Up will always be my favorite, not just because of Channing Tatum, but because of the simplicity of it and while there wasn't a lot of dancing, the plot was probably the best in the series. It's nice to see how with each movie the dancing gets edgier more incredible.
Step Up Revolution hits theaters July 27th. Check out the trailer below. What do you think?
