Wednesday Buzz: Kristen Stewart Dropped from "Huntsman" Sequel?

Rumors have surfaced that Kristen Stewart has been dropped from Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman sequel, which is still being planned, according to E! No, this is not because of her affair, nor is it because the supposed concept of the sequel will only focus on The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth).

The truth is, no one (including Hemsworth) is officially attached with the franchise to begin with. It was also confirmed on Tuesday that screen writer David Koepp, is no longer working on the second film. While Stewart was open to reprise her role as the armor-wearing heroine, unlike the Twilight franchise, she was not obligated to do a sequel (E!)."We don't have to do it," Stewart said at a Snow White sneak preview. "That's the coolest thing. There's no pressure. But to be able to expand on this would be awesome", says Stewart (E! and Universal are both part of the NBCUniversal family). Nothing like being contractually obligated.

Kristen Stewart did make that statement about reprising her role before she was caught on camera with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
