Wednesday Buzz: Sheryl Crow Has Benign Brain Tumor

I actually heard this on the radio yesterday while I was at work. Sheryl Crow has a benign brain tumor. Crow, who is a breast cancer survivor revealed the news in an interview with the Las Vegas-Review Journal (Gossip Cop). Crow explained that she saw a doctor in November with concerns about memory loss.

In the interview Crow said she "worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor" (Gossip Cop). Crow admits that she hasn't really talked about her situation, adding "But it's benign [non-cancerous], so I don't have to worry about it" (Gossip Cop).

Sheryl Crow's rep restates that the tumor is a type called meningioma, and is very common and that the "Soak Up The Sun" singer is fine.

Well, that's good to hear.
