New Music Tuesday: Jason Reeves

 

Singer/Songwriter Jason Reeves began songwriting when he was a teenager. Growing up in Iowa, he dropped out of college and moved to California to pursue his music career. That move is where the music magic began. He met singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat, and began to write music with Colbie, the result being Colbie's first album Coco. The remaining songs that didn't make it onto Colbie's debut album ended up on Jason's first EP, Hearts Are Magnets, released in 2006. Reeve's following album, Magnificent Adventures of Heartache... (2008) got him a record deal with Warner Bros. On August 16, he released another album, The Lovesick.
