In the upcoming movie Struck By Lightening, Chris Colfer not only makes his big-screen acting debut but he also wrote and produced the film!
Allison Janney who is also an actress in the movie The Help, will be playing Colfer's mother in the flick. She commented on the film saying, "He plays a kid who refuses to go down. He's a kid that gets tortured by all the kids at school--endlessly and mercilessly. But he refuses to disintegrate and it makes him stronger and he's sort of impenetrable. And it's also sort of heartbreaking. It will make you cry".
Uh-oh, sounds like a tearjerker. Hold off Glee fans, Chris Colfer won't be singing in the movie, but it still sounds like it will be interesting.
I think it's awesome that he's into writing and producing. Now that we know that he's leaving after Glee's third season, it's good he has his foot in the door with other things. He's defintely going places.
