Friday Movie Openings

According to IMDb's Box Office, here are the rankings for this week's movies:

1.     Rise of the Planet of the Apes     $54.8M
2.     The Smurfs     $20.7M
3.     Cowboys & Aliens     $15.7M
4.     The Change-Up     $13.5M
5.     Captain America: The First Avenger  $13M

I have no interest whatsoever in seeing The Smurfs, but I guess it's a good family movie; especially for the little ones. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark doesn't open for another two weeks, so here are a couple movies opening this week.

30 Minutes or Less, starring Jesse Eisenberg.
"Two fledgling criminals kidnap a pizza delivery guy, strap a bomb to his chest, and inform him that he has mere hours to rob a bank or else.." (IMDb)

Final Destination 5, starring Nicholas D'Agosto, and Emma Bell.
"Survivors of a suspension-bridge collapse learn there's no way you can cheat Death." (IMDb)

Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, starring the Glee Cast.
"A concert documentary shot during the Glee Live! In Concert! summer 2011 tour." (IMDb)
