The 2011 nominees were announced in late June. I didn't get to actually watch the award show, I totally forgot. But I did learn that this was an award show where finally the Twilight Franchise didn't win every award (Yay!). But another very popular Sci-Fi/Fantasy did win some awards, can you guess which?

Who do you think got snubbed? I personally think Nicki Minaj got snubbed for best R&B/Hip-Hop Artist over Eminem. I personally like Nicki better. In all honesty, I'm don't think I missed much, with the exception of glimpses at one of Hollywood's cutest couples (Bieber and Gomez). However, I definitely will be tuning into the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in a couple weeks.

No, no, no. It's "teens" that are voting lol. Not much of a difference but, hey. Everyone knows that these award shows don't really count. It's the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, and Tonys.
