¡No Me Digas! Kanye's Been Running His Mouth

Looks like Kanye West has been hit with the foot-in-mouth disease, yet again. E! News has the latest. At one of his recent shows, he delivered another ridiculous rant.

During a headline appearance at the U.K.'s Big Chill Music Festival, he compared himself to--get ready for it-- Hitler. He continued to talk about all of his haters who can't stand him. I'm sure that after this, that bar is even higher now.

So what exactly did Kanye have to say? On his collaboration with Jay-Z: "I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm f--king insane, like I'm Hitler"...But one day the light will shine through and one day people will understand everything I ever did", Kanye told the crowd. Sarcastically as E! puts it, "Like invade England with his ego". He was greeted of course, with boos from the crowd.

He then began to lash on the crtics of his "Monster" video. The video upon it's re-release (after being banned), was critized for it's violent depiction of women, showing dead girls hanging from nooses.

"Who saw the video before it got banned, before they took it down and before women's groups starting saying that a person that lost the most important woman in his life is now against women in some way?" (Referring to the death of his mother)

Kanye said that the imagery was inspired by Helmut Newton, and that his aim was simply artisitc. "There's very few hip-hop videos that have ever had any energy of that sort. [The video] was really artistic but once again it was thrown into the misogynistic box because they couldn't understand how a rapper could have the taste and sensibility high enough to do something like that without being misyogynistic. And once again, I wake up and I'm a monster."

Let's remember that this same rapper had the "taste and sensibility" to interrupt Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to say Beyoncé should have won. Or how about when he lashed out at those who frowned upon this.

Kanye west, kept his monologue going by saying, "Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball. He took his power to make a difference and so much bulls--t going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f--kin' difference. On with the show."

E! said that West redeemed himself--well sort of--with the audience by paying tribute to the "beautiful" and "amazing" Amy Winehouse and played samples from the late singers album, "Tears Dry on Their Own", and "Back to Black". It was also said that he gave a shout-out to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.

Oh Kanye. I just don't understand. His mouth always gets him into trouble, you would of thought that he's learned by now, but I guess not. But it's so hard to hate when his musical work is just genius. Well, as long as people keep buying his album, he won't stop. Well, I don't think so anyways.
