Amy Winehouse became a household name in 2007 thanks to the huge success of Back to Black and its lead single "Rehab", which led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, making Winehouse the first British female to win five Grammy's, including three of the "Big Four": Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The singer-songwriter was known for her powerful deep contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres including R&B, soul and jazz.

I find it unpleasant that many people saw her death as an incident that was bound to happen. I don't find the purpose in remembering a time in her life where she was displayed negatively; where she was all over the tabloids, and in a bad place. I find it respectful to remember the wonderful yet unique music she brought to us. Even before her untimely passing, not a day went by where I wasn't playing one of her songs.

I have posted an unreleased track of hers titled "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". I really love the song. It has been said that her record label has been trying to scramble together as many unreleased tracks as they can to possibly create a third album. Unlike Michael Jackson (who passed summer of 2009), who continued to work in the studio up until the point of his death, Amy Winehouse didn't continue her work as much up until her death. Regardless, she will still remain one of my favorite female artists with untouchable vocals.
